Everything in the room was immaculate and so spacious, and the hotel building itself was stunning. The view from the restaurant and bar was great. We paid for parking and breakfast to be included so we didn’t have anything to worry about while we were there. The staff were all incredibly lovely and couldn’t do enough to help, even at 2am they were just as friendly as they were at any other time of day. The bed was super comfortable - I have trouble napping and I had no problem nodding off! The bathroom was so nicely designed I might have to remodel my own at home. The facilities in the room were thoughtful with tea and biscuits refilled daily, and small packs of cotton buds in the bathroom. I needn’t have worried about forgetting shower gel as it was provided and had a lovely scent. The blackout curtains were much appreciated as we needed a power nap in the day and once they were closed it was like the middle of the night! We really appreciated the efficient air con to keep the room fresh and cool as well as obviously in a hotel of that size the windows don’t open, we never had a problem with the temperature being uncomfortable. Breakfast had plenty of options including vegan sausage on request, dairy free milk and yoghurt, and gluten free cereals all well signposted. We couldn’t hear a thing from rooms on any side during our stay and the hallway carpet was so thick it was great at absorbing noise so you don’t have to worry about footsteps disturbing other guests. We felt very welcomed after a long journey and will definitely consider staying here again.

We had a great stay, such a clean hotel with great facilities. We had adjoining rooms which both had ample space making our stay comfortable. The bed was fantastic and with the superb black out curtains I had the best sleep I’ve had in ages. Breakfast was scrummy although we went down a bit later and some of the goodies had run out which was a shame. The evening meal was ok, but the menu a little limited.

Breakfast was superb, very good quality ingredients.Food in the evening was also lovely.Located a little out of city centre but train station was only few minutes away and we also found local bus stop that did a circular service into Exeter.Parking was also very good although I guess on match days it may be an issue. Everything about hotel felt “new”.

Sandra

The hotel was lovely. Modern, clean and tasteful. The lifts were quite big which i was a big fan of. The bed was comfy and a lush flat screen to watch the olympics on in our room. Close drive to the city & can walk to IKEA and other little pubs. Lovely staff.

Abby

Staff were always pleasant and friendly. The room was lovely, bed perfect, very clean and great attention to finer details ie a light in the wardrobe. The top floor restaurant has exceptional views and the food was top quality. There was so much to like.
